Awards & Installation Dinner
The Awards & Installation Dinner is a distinguished event where the new President and Board of Directors are formally installed. This elegant gala also honors outstanding Chinese American businesses through an awards presentation celebrating their achievements and contributions to the business community.

Golden Dragon Parade
The Golden Dragon Parade stands as the crowning highlight of the Chinese New Year celebration in Southern California. With a rich history spanning over a century, it draws more than 80,000 spectators lining the parade route, while thousands more watch the event via broadcast. The parade showcases a vibrant procession featuring government officials, celebrities, and dignitaries, alongside numerous high school bands, drill teams, dragon and lion dancers, and a diverse array of performers.

Little King & Queen Contest
Participants, comprising boys and girls of Chinese heritage aged six to twelve, are honored through the selection of a Little King, Little Queen, Little Prince, and Little Princess. These young representatives have the distinguished opportunity to take part in the Chinese New Year festivities, including the Annual Golden Dragon Parade and the Chinese New Year Banquet. They are also formally recognized with certificates at a Los Angeles City Council meeting. Though a more intimate event, the experience is truly memorable and meaningful for each child involved. Every participant receives a thoughtfully prepared gift bag, generously sponsored by our community supporters.

Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant
For more than six decades, the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant has been one of the most eagerly anticipated events within the Los Angeles community. Each year, over 900 guests gather to celebrate this elegant and prestigious gala. Approximately twenty young women are selected as finalists to compete for the coveted title of Miss Los Angeles Chinatown. These contestants dedicate ten weeks to rigorous preparation, honing their public speaking and presentation skills while deepening their understanding of the history and current affairs impacting the Chinese American community. In recognition of their dedication and commitment, prizes are awarded not only to the Queen and her Court but also to all contestants for their valuable participation.

Yearbook
Each year, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce publishes a Yearbook that presents detailed coverage of events and demographic trends within the Chinese American community of Southern California. Approximately 8,000 copies are distributed free of charge throughout the region. Additionally, the Yearbook serves as a commemorative token for distinguished individuals—such as dignitaries, sponsors, and celebrities—during their special visits.
